Those praiseworthy leaders! Those torn collars, dry lips, helpless spirits that were taken out of their bodies! Those naked corpses, those emaciated bodies, those flowing bloods, those cut organs of bodies! Those heads on the spears! Those women taken out of the tents! Our praise be upon the proof of the God of the worlds!
She grew up in a family that its father, mother, and all the children possessed the highest degree of faith and ethics. Furthermore, she enjoyed the effects of the Prophet Muhammad that were still dominating the city and its people.
1. Ruqayyah in Karbala
After entering Karbala, Ruqayyah didn’t leave her father even for a short moment. She was his father’s sympathizer and suffered thirstiness just like the other companions.

The Grief of Ruqayyah’s Fly to Heaven
Tonight, you will return to the first appointed place. Your father and all the angels are eagerly waiting for you. Tonight, the sky is dark and sad and the autumn wind brings death. All ahl al-bayt are weeping bitterly. And the love is crying for the grief of the loss of this beautiful blossom withering in her springtime. Zeynab is restless. Finally, that moment arrived and little Ruqayyah left the world and flied towards her father.
O moon! Don’t shine! Don’t shine!
Tonight, the saddest moon is beholding the sky of the world. O sky! How sad you are! It seems that a grief as vast as the earth is lacerating your heart. Tonight, all the angels come to the earth in black cover and sing the saddest song. All the doors and walls of the ruins of Sham are crying for the grief of Zeynab. Tonight, the earth’s face has turned dark for the grief of Zaynab.
Hossein’s Companions
Ḥabīb b. Muẓāhir al-Asadī
Ḥabīb b. Muẓāhir al-Asadī was one of Imam ‘Ali’s (a) special companions. He was from Banu Asad tribe, and lived in Kufa. He was also one of the brave companions of the Prophet, Imam Hassan, and Imam Hossein.
Hnzlh bin As’ad Alshbamy
He was the son of As’ad and one of the greatest Shea. He was from Hamdan tribe and the name of his son was Ali. He was also one of the readers of Quran and a good lecturer.
Abdul Rahman ibn Abdullah
After receiving lots of invitation letters from people of Kufa, Imam Hossein ordered him to accompany Muslim while traveling to Kufa. He came back from Kufa after Muslim’s martyrdom and entered the battlefield with Imam’s permission. He was martyred in Karbala.
Saif ibn Harith ibn Sari
“Saif bin Harith bin Sari” and “Malek ibn Abdullah ibn Sari” were two brothers that came to Karbala to join Imam Hossein.
Malek ibn Abdullah
Malek was the son of Abdullah and the brother of Saif ibn Harith. Saif ibn Harith was one of the youngest companions of Imam Hossein.
Javn ibn Hovay
He was one of the old martyrs of Ashura and also one of the black slaves of Fazl ibn Abas ibn Abdulmotaleb that was bought by Imam Ali.
Hayan ibn Hareth
In the morning of Ashura and at the beginning of the war, Hayan and his companions attacked the enemy and fought bravely. While they were surrounded by the enemy Hazrat Abbas helped and saved them.
