The evens related to Ashura
When Ibn Ziyad arrested Hani Bin Arve and imprisoned him in his castle, his fans made a lot of noise around the castle since they imagined that he had been killed. In such a situation, Sharih Ghazi left the castle according to the order of Ibn Ziyad and attested that Hani was alive in order that his fans dispersed. It has been written that Sharih Ghazi issued a fatwa because Hazrat Hussein Ibn Ali (peace be upon him) did not obey the orders of the caliph, it was necessary for the Muslims to made him go away from themselves. Sharih was a judge that issued fatwa in the rank of the judges and the clergymen. Of course, Killing a common person needs some necessary conditions; it can be more important in killing the son of the prophet. Ubeidullah Bin Ziyad (an adulterous person) wanted to make the people lose their interest from Imam Hussein. He called upon Sharih Hani that was the judge of Kufa in the time of Umar with a trick and requested him to issue an fatwa in order that he could introduce the son of the prophet, a radical man and the opponent of benefits and security and accused him of making discord among the Muslims and in this way, he could turn the hearts and the attention of the people away from Imam and murdered him. At first, Sharih refused to do it because he knew that the world and the doomsday would kill him. Ibn Marjane that was so sly promised a lot of money (hundred thousand). Because Sharih did not see any cash, he said that he would never issue any fatwas in relation to killing the son of the prophet. Ibn Marjane that was a political person came to the house of Sharih after two or three days later and said ‘’ I have saved some money and would like to consider them for the future of your children; show me a place for this'’. Sharih showed a room for it and Ubeidullah laid the safe of Dinar there. Two days later, he came to Sharih and said ‘’ where is the safe? ‘’. Sharih pointed at the house. Then Ubeidullah emptied the safe (fifty thousand Dinar) on the earth. He started showing Dinars to him and enticed the greed of Sharih. Then he said ‘’ O’ Sharih! (there is no one at home) if you issue an order in relation to murdering Imam Hussein, these will belong to you ( otherwise you will face to a great danger)'’. Sharih deceived and issued a rule in relation to murdering Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) (because he disobeyed Amir Al-Momenin, Yazid, and the religion…he should be killed) and Ubeidullah revealed the rule and decceived the common people.
If we accept the existence and the importance of the mentioned fatwa, it can be said that the main murderer of Imam Hussein and his faithful companions was Sharih Ghazi that deceived the people as the scientist of the religion and the judge of the city and had an important role in sharpening the sword of tyranny. According to the narration of Seyed Hasan Taghizade, the famous and fussy personality of Mashrute in the event of the contract in 1919′’ we were the means of the action. Umar Sad, Shemr , Hermele and other murderers that were the tulips of the freedom plain were only instruments. If the fatwa of Sharih that was from his love to the world had not been, Dinar, gold and money, it would have been impossible for anyone to dare to murder the grandchild of the prophet let alone to other terrible events. The first interference of Sharih at the beginning of the movement of Karbala was related to the allegiance of seventy two persons of the dignitaries of Kufa such as: Habib Bin Mazaher, Muhammad Bin Ashas, Mokhtar Saghafi, Umar Bin Sad and … and in considering him as a witness in supporting the dynasty of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and inviting Imam Hussein ( peace be upon him) for leaving the responsibility of the government of Kufa to him. Apart from breaking allegiance by most of these dignitaries, Sharih came to Ubeidullah as soons as he entered Kufa in Dar Al-Emare and without considering his commitment with the dynasty of Ali, he joined the group of their opponents and became one of the consultants of Ubeidullah. To achieve his purposes, he needed the support of persons such as Sharih Ghazi that had a prominent personality among the religious people of Kufa and attracted him. Ziyad and his son, Ubeidullah, misused him; they issued fatwa from his unimportant remarks.
Yazid Bin Moavie (may God curse him) ordered Ubeidullah Bin Ziyad to has the wives Ahle Beit and the wives of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) move toward Sham along with the sacred head of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), the heads of the youth and the head of the companions of Imam Hussein that had martyred and their merchandises.
It has been narrated in the history ‘’ after Ibn Ziyad showed the heads of the martyrs of Karbela in the alleys and the neighborhoods of Karbela for a day (according to another narration, for few days), they sent them to Yazid Bin Moaviye in Sham. Ibn Ziyad left the heads of the martyrs of Karbela to Zohar Bin Gheis and he had him move toward Sham.
After Ibn Ziyad sent the head of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), he sent Asrae along with Shemr Zi Al-Joshan and Mokhfer Bin Thabale Aezi to Sham in the Muharram fifteenth and shackled the holy hand and the feet of Imam Sajad ( peace be upon him) and had Asrae ride a came without reins. That dichotomous person brought the immaculate Ahle Beit like the captured polytheists of Karbela from a land to another land to sham dishonarably which even people came and watched them.
There are no sources and documets about the time that Asrae was moving from Kufa toward Sham and what happened during this path; only impolite behaviors of the the carriers of the sacred heads such as drinking wine and they passed different cities.
The carriers of the heads of the martyrs rested in the first accommodation, had fun with playing the heads of the martyrs and were drinking wine some time of the night.
Suddenly, an hand appeared from the wall and wrote this poem with an irony pencil with drops of blood.
اَتَرْجُو اُمَّهٌ قَتَلَتْ حُسَیْنا شَفاعَهَ جَدِّهِ یَوْمَ الْحِسابِ
The carriers of the heads highly scared; therefore, some of them stood up in order to grab the hand and the pencil, but they disappeared suddenly. When they came back, the hand with bloody inck appeared again and wrote this poem
فَلا وَ الله لَیْسَ لَهُم شَفیع وَ هُمْ یَومَ القیامَه فی الْعَذاب
I swear God no one will intercede them in the doomsday and they will be tortured in the doomsday.
Some of them wanted to grab the hand onece more, but it disappeared. When they came back for the third time, the hand wrote this poem the same as previous time
وَ قَد قتلُو الحُسینَ بحکم جَور وَ خالف خَلفَهُم حکم الکِتاب
‘’They martyred Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) tyrannically; therefore, they acted against Quran'’. ‘
The carriers of the head regretted to eat food and did not sleep due to their fear. At midnight, the monk that lived there heard a voice. The monk listened to it carefully and heard the admiration of God. The monk stood up and took his head out of the window. He understood that a light from the lance beside the wall was raised toward the sky and the angels were descending from the sky in groups and were saying
السلام علیک یابن رسول الله … السلام علیک یا ابا عبدالله.
Seeing this sceine, the monk surprised and the fear filled all over his body. He left the monestry, went among the companions of Ibn Ziyad and asked ‘’ who is your head?'’ they ansered ‘’ Khuli'’. He went to Khuli and asked ‘’ whom does this head belong?'’ he answred ‘’ the head of a foreigner man (Naas Bellah), left Iraq and Ibn Ziyad killed him'’. The monk asked ‘’ what is his name?'’ Khuli asked ‘’ his name is Hussein Bin Ali Bin Abitaleb (peace be upon him)'’.
He asked him again ‘’ what is the name of his maother?'’ Khuli answered ‘’Fateme Bint Muhammad Mustafa (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)'’. The monk asked suprisingly ‘’ do you mean Muhammad that is your prophet?'’
Khuli answered'’ yes'’. The monk was saying loudly ‘’ God perishes you for what you have done'’. He begged them to let him keep the holy head of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) untill the morning. Khuli said ‘’ we cannot accept your request. We should take it to Yazid Bin Moaviye in order to receive reward'’. The monk asked ‘’ how much is your reward?'’ Khuli asked ‘’ ten thousand Dirham'’. The monk daid ‘’ I will pay ten thousand Dirham'’. Khuli accepted it and gave the holy head to the monk.
The monk rose up the holy head with musk, laid it on his prayer carpet and cried all of night. When the morning arrived, he stated to the luminous head ‘’ O’ my head! I have nothing to give you, but I attest that God is only the creater of the world and your grandfather, Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), is the prophet of God. I attest I am your servant and added ‘’ O’ Aba Abdullah! I wish I had been in Karbela and had sacrified my body for you. O’ Aba Abdullah! When you visit your grandfather, you attest I said Shahadatein (reciting the articles of Islamic faith) and believed in the Islam in your presence'’.
اشهد ان لا اله الا الله …
He gave the head to them in the morning. Afterwards, he left the monastery and became the servant of Ahle Beit.
Ibn Hesham said ‘’ when they took back the head from the monk, they continued their path. When they arrived Damascus, they said ‘’ let’s divide the Dirham among ourselves and tell nothing about it to Yazid. When they opened the packs of Dirham, they saw that they had become ceramic. It had been written on them
“فلا حسبن الله غافلا عما یعلم الظالمون"Ibrahim Surah/ verse 42))
.'’Think not that Allah doth not heed of the deeds of those who do wrong'’
It had been written on another one
گو سیعلم الذین ظلموا ای منقلب ینقلبون
.'’ the tyrants should know what will happen to them as soon as possible'’
The carriers of the head threw away the crocks in a river. Khuli said ‘’ do not reveal this secret'’ and said to himself
انا لله و انا الیه راجعون، حذر الدنیا والاخر
The history has not determined the events happened during the path toward Sham, how many accommodations they rested and what happened to them.
